Hi there,
My name is Naomi Edward and I’m a friend of God.
In addition, I am a writer and a content creator. Believe it or not, I discovered this gifting and talent after I gave my life to Jesus Christ (born again) about 8 years ago. But my journey with God had actually begun 5 years before getting born again. Prior to getting born again, I didn’t think I had much to offer in terms of gifts and talents. As a matter of fact, I actually thought I had no gift or talent whatsoever. I had always felt like God forgot to put them in me or something (terrible thinking by the way). So I just did the next best thing, I acquired skills that to be honest, I was really not that enthusiastic about. Simply put, I always felt stuck in a rut. Though, full disclosure, I had always thought gifts and talents were things that people could visibly see, have immediate experience with or get immediate output from. Things like singing, sports, dancing, drawing etc.
So, imagine my surprise when I realised as I spent my time with God that gifts and talents are so varied and could be as simple as the things that you do that come naturally for you. For example, did you know that being able to recognize peoples’ faces after seeing them only once, is a gift…..it’s an actual gift that not many people possess, but most people think it’s just a normal thing. So, you may have a gift that you don’t even know is a gift, because it just comes naturally to you. For a minute, pause and reflect on what you are passionate about that’s an action (activity) that comes naturally to you!!
I write all these things to say, my journey with God has been nothing short of amazing. My life has changed and continues to change in tremendous ways that I would never have imagined was possible in this lifetime. I have spent countless hours in God’s word every single day, since realizing the bible is the key to unlocking the abundant life that Jesus gave us through the cross. God’s heart for every single person is only good. God’s love towards you and I is completely unconditional. He desires for every one of us to experience the God-life which can only be unlocked by accepting Jesus Christ into our hearts and lives fully.
I created this space to share God’s heart for every single person, because God’s heart is only love, truth and light. To know God’s heart, you have to read and meditate on His word. In this space, I will be sharing:
- God’s unconditional love and what that looks like
- God’s nature
- Our identity in Christ
- How to be all that God created you to be
- How to live a godly life in a corrupt world
God’s word is the key to unlocking the greatness that God put in you. Being born again is not boring or outdated, it’s actually the in-thing. If you’re not a believer, then you’re missing out.
I am who I am today because of turning to God, and choosing to do life with Him rather than leading myself or being led by a fellow human being. And by the way, no human being, you and I included, knows absolutely everything and is always right. But guess who is always right and knows all things….you guessed right…God. So, don’t you think you are more likely to lead a fulfilling life led by God rather than the alternative? To me, it only makes absolute sense to let God be the driver of my life. I hope you choose this option too. You will not regret it.
I am just an ordinary woman with a big God and some would say, an imperfect woman with a perfect God. He took confusion, bad life choices, lostness (if that’s even a word) and produced the me that I am today. Honestly, I lost nothing, but gained everything. If He can do this for me, He can do it for you too. The kingdom of God is never too full to add one more person to be a citizen of heaven.
